Angry: Locals call for better safety measures

While the news of tragic plane crash was nothing less than a nightmare for those who lost their dear ones, others were furious over the incident. “I can’t even imagine what the families must be feeling right now. This is an awful way to lose a dear one. I am outraged, so is everyone else,” said Zainab Kamal as she watched the news unfold on TV.

Hamza Ali Abbasi, 27, said, “Airline safety regulations need to be improved for our local airlines. Two plane crash in two years indicates that safety measures are not being implemented properly.”

Ghazala Khan, a local resident, said, “My daughter was supposed to return from Karachi today. When I saw the news of TV it felt as if my heart just stopped beating for a moment.” But then Khan’s daughter decided to come back instead on Saturday (today). “I am so relieved but my heart goes out to all those who lost their family members.”
