Cricket: Grade II players face ban after brawl
facing year-long bans after holding each others’ collars during a Patron’s Trophy grade-II match

Two domestic players – KESC’s Bismillah Khan and Sayid Paper Mills’ Imad – are facing year-long bans after holding each others’ collars during a Patron’s Trophy grade-II match at Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala.
The management of both teams have been told that both players will be banned for a year and a written letter has been handed to them. A KESC player told The Express Tribune that his teammate Bismillah was provoked. However, Sayid Paper Mills’ players have denied that was the case and said it was a two-sided affair. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board domestic cricket officials said that they will receive the report today and will act accordingly.
