KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Coordination Committee has condemned the killing of Jinnah Polytechnic Institute Vice Principal Imran Haider Zaidi.

Zaidi was shot dead on Tuesday in North Nazimabad. The Coordination Committee said Zaidi’s killing was part of a “vicious conspiracy” to stir sectarian violence in the city and has asked Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Home Minister Manzoor Wassan to take notice of the attack and charge the culprits. The committee condoled Zaidi’s death with his family.
