LAHORE:

Additional District and Sessions Judge (AD&SJ )Hussain Sial on Wednesday sought comments from the Race Course SHO for April 21 on a petition seeking the arrest of former chief minister Dost Muhammad Khosa and others.

Petitioner Missal Khan submitted that the police were not conducting a proper investigation into the abduction and murder of his daughter Sapna Khan, Khosa’s ex-wife. He urged the court to direct DSP Safder Raza Kazmi to arrest Khosa and investigate the case on merit.

Meanwhile, AD&SJ Rai Muhammad Ayub Khan on Wednesday set May 9 for the hearing of pre-arrest bail pleas moved by Missal Khan and his two sons for allegedly preparing fake birth certificates for Sapna Khan.

The judge adjourned proceedings on the request of a police official who said that the investigation of the case was yet to be completed.
