Agreement: Sigma Motors to launch Chinese vehicles

DEC-Sokon handed over four vehicles specially manufactured to meet Pakistani weather conditions.

BEIJING: Sigma Motors Pakistan and DEC-Sokon Chongqing have signed an agreement under which Sigma Motors has undertaken to promote Chongqing manufactured vehicles in Pakistan. The cooperative agreement was signed by Sigma Motors Chief Executive Officer Zafaruddin Ahmed and General Manager Chongqing Ma Jian Chang, the Consul General of Pakistan in Chengdu Hasan Habib told APP on Tuesday. Chongqing’s affordable vehicles are available in two categories – a loading van and a 10-seater. The cost of the vehicle, according to Hasan Habib, is much lower when compared to popular foreign brands favoured in Pakistan. The vehicles, Habib said, have been manufactured under European standards with a right-hand drive specification. After the signing ceremony, DEC-Sokon handed over four vehicles specially manufactured to meet Pakistani weather conditions.
