KARACHI:

Pakistan’s under-22 football team failed to make any impact in Thailand as they lost their opening match 3-0 in Bangkok.

According to the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) official, the team conceded two goals in the first half while Thailand sealed the victory with their third.

“I’m hoping that the players improve,” PFF Secretary Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi told The Express Tribune.

“The aim of the tour is to give them exposure and confidence because they don’t perform well in international tournaments. Winning and losing doesn’t matter since these are friendly matches and won’t affect our international ranking.”
