New Demands: PBC demands circuit bench for Mekran
The government in principle agreed to establish a circuit bench at Turbat.
KARACHI:
The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has demanded establishment of a circuit bench of Balochistan High Court for Mekran division but the same was inordinately delayed, said Akhtar Hussain, Vice Chairman of PBC on Monday in an informal talk with print and electronic media at Sindh High Court Bar Association. The government in principle agreed to establish a circuit bench at Turbat and necessary approval was also accorded but things remained at a standstill. The chief justice of Balochistan was supposed to take further steps after agreement of the government, said PBCs vice chairman.
