PESHAWAR: The Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) is all set to hold a public gathering in Peshawar on Sunday, sources confirmed, as the group staged a ‘motorcycle rally’ in the metropolis on Friday.

“Leaders of DPC member parties will be reaching Peshawar soon and thousands of workers from various religious and political parties will participate in the rally,” Israrullah, Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) provincial spokesperson and chairperson of DPC’s media committee, told supporters who had gathered at the Peshawar Press Club.

Criticising the government for deciding to reopen Nato supply routes, Israr said that the DPC will finalise its course of action soon.
