Six dead, 16 injured as shopping plaza collapses in Gujranwala
The under-construction floors, being built upon the first floor of the shopping centre, collapsed and trapped shop owners and shoppers underneath it.
Police officials and residents of the area immediately started rescue work, evacuating and transporting the injured to a nearby hospital.
A number of people are still believed to be trapped under the rubble.
