DPC calls urgent meeting in Rawalpindi
Council to organise mass movement to pressurise govt into withdrawing its support from war on terror.

The Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) has called an urgent meeting in Rawalpindi on Saturday to review the parliament’s decision on Pakistan-US ties, sources said.
The council of 40 right-wing political and religious activists are seeking to organise a mass movement to pressurise the government into withdrawing its support from the war on terror and to review and oppose parliament’s recommendations on Pakistan-US relations.
The Jamaatud Dawa, a prominent party of the council, censured the decision taken by the parliament on Thursday.
