An alleged Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) militant was decapitated and his head displayed on a rooftop as a ‘warning’ in Sarband on the outskirts of Peshawar, locals told The Express Tribune.
A day after Hazrat Khan, a former LI commander, was killed along with six others by Mangal Bagh’s men in Bara, Munsif Ali, believed to be an ardent follower of Bagh’s LI, was killed in the village of Bajri.
Villagers alleged the police took no notice of the incident despite being informed and did not want to interfere in the matter. “The police are supporting anti-LI forces in the area and there is no FIR of the case,” they claimed.
When contacted, the police dismissed reports of the decapitation incident as rumours and gossip. Locals also claimed that a group of former LI ‘renegades’ is cooperating with the police and providing them with intelligence against the militant outfit.

That's a bit extreme. But I guess it goes to show how those groups really treat people. That's not an easy reaction to get out of people. Killing them... Not so hard. Decapitating and displaying it... That takes special motivation.
while i totally agree that such incidents should not be taken lightly, since all human life is precious..........its clear this menace of lashkars and militants can only be stopped with similar response to their barbaric actions
