Pakistan teams finally recorded wins over the tourists on the second day of the AFC under-14 Football Festival underway at the Jinnah Stadium. Pakistan ‘A’ beat Tajikistan 1-0 before Pakistan beat the same opponents by an identical scoreline. Earlier, Tajikistan and Afghanistan recorded victories over the hosts. However, Pakistan ‘A’ bounced back from the slump with Ehtesham Kiani scoring the winner against Tajikistan before Muneer helped Pakistan win their encounter. Pakistan recorded another win yesterday, beating Pakistan ‘A’ 2-1 with Junaid and Shanoo scoring a goal apiece. Afghanistan and Pakistan played out a stalemate, while Afghanistan defeated Pakistan ‘A’ 1-0.
