Snooker: Cueists train on their own
Cueists Mohammad Asif and Sultan Mohammad are practising on their own.
KARACHI:
Cueists Mohammad Asif and Sultan Mohammad are practising on their own at the training camp, organised by the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA), to prepare for the upcoming Asian Championship to be held in Doha, Qatar.
The camp has been underway for more than a week in Islamabad at the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) facility and the two players have been forced to supervise themselves.
“People expect us to achieve a lot but they don’t see the poor training camps we get before high-profile events,” Asif told The Express Tribune. “If the PBSA can’t rope in or afford a world-class coach then at least a normal one should have been there to help us.”
