AJK government has released Rs5.33 billion out of the Rs8.28 billion mass welfare programme so far
MIRPUR:
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has released Rs5.33 billion out of the Rs8.28 billion mass welfare programme for various projects so far. This was informed by AJK Planning and Development Secretary Farhat Ali Mir during the third quarter review meeting of the Annual Development Programme. The secretary said Rs4.28 billion have been released to various departments, out of which Rs2.94 billion have been used for development projects. The secretary said 634 out of 758 development projects are ongoing in the region, while 198 projects will be completed by the end of this year.
