President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Mustafa Kamal has said that the Bangladesh team might not tour Pakistan due to “shortage of time”, Express News reported on Tuesday.

Pakistan had invited Bangladesh for a three-match one-day series in April this year in a bid to revive international cricket at home.

While discussing the proposed schedule by Pakistan between April 15 to April 2, 2012, Kamal explained that a meeting of International Cricket Council (ICC) was scheduled on April 14 and that the team was busy with some other engagements.

Kamal said that Bangladesh also wanted revival of international cricket in Pakistan.

Responding to Kamal’s statement, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that no official information had been received from Bangladesh.

International cricket teams have refused to tour Pakistan since gunmen attacked the Sri Lankan team in Lahore in March 2009.

Sheikh Hasina obviously does not want this to happen.
    Pakistan should not insist.

    Let it be…

They didn’t bother to inform PCB officially and we keep BEGGING India and Bangladesh to send their teams.

Nothing is above our nation’s dignity and honour and now we would prefer a national event instead of allowing Bangladeshi or Indian teams into our country, even if the BEG for it.

Give me a break Mr Kamal! 3 ODI series wont take month! 1 Week is enough to organize the series.

We have to be fair with everyone including Bangladesh, I mean we would never send our team to a place like Pakistan , I am from Pakistan and honestly I don’t feel safe visiting Pakistan every day people are killed either in name of religon or other reasons, first make Pakistan a safe place to live for all no matter who they are and then we should invite.

This is OK. If they do not want to come, we can not do any thing ! Overall, what fun would there be to see a 3-0 thrashing of so called tigers. Arrange more national tournaments, there is a silver linning here, more cricket will bring positive changes in youth and should find us some new talent. Just win every series or give your best outside of Pakistan. Thats all Pakistan can do and should do !

Guys, India does not want that international cricket should come back to Pakistan and mind you that India is a mighty force in ICC. India would try all efforts to destroy cricket in Pakistan and that is their immediate and most important mission. Bangladesh in no way will harm their relationship with India by touring Pakistan. If India permits Bangladesh than they will visit and play. Mr. Zaka should understand one thing that under PM Hasina’s regime, things will never work out positively in favor of Pakistan as Hasina’s govt is controlled and run by the high command in Delhi. Hasina is obliged to respect honor command from her high command as they have installed her to run Bangladesh.
