FAISALABAD: A man hospitalised a week ago with burn injuries he suffered apparently trying to save his wife who had set herself on fire died on Friday night. Maqbool Ahmad’s wife wife Nasem Bibi had already died of the injuries she suffered. Ahmed’s family had said that Naseem burned herself following an argument between the couple. They had said that Ahmed suffered burns while trying to put out her fire. Naseem’s brother Amanullah, however, suspected that she had been killed by Ahmed and his family. Batala Colony police were investigating a murder case Amanullah filed against Ahmed.
