Snooker: Majid maintains 100% record in Goa
Cueist reigns supreme in junior snooker event.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Majid Ali maintained his 100% record in the Asian U21 Snooker Championship as defeated Iran’s Slyavosh Mozayani 4-2 in Goa, India.
Majid, who enjoyed easy victories in his first two outings, was tested in his last group match as Mozayani took a 2-1 lead. However, Majid came back into the match and conjured up high breaks to eventually win 61-34, 41-71, 5-67, 110-31, 92-39 and 69-58.
Majid has so far dropped just three frames in the tournament.
Compatriot Hunain, who has also advanced into the last-16, will be up against Iran’s amateur world champion Hossein Vafaei Ayouri today.
