Not only were complete guide books being opened during examinations, the students were not even prevented from using their cell phones. While the invigilators roamed about the examination centres, the students found no trouble in jotting down their answers using mobile phones, books, notes and other material.
The examination board officials visited the centres for inspection but failed in finding any foul practice taking place as the students hid all evidences prior to the raid.
In past instances of cheating during exams, many students were caught by the invigilators and even sent to jails – where they were seen preparing for their upcoming exams behind bars. But these incidents seem to have no effect on the students who continue to divulge in this activity without facing any vigilance of the authorities.
