ASI among 3 cops shot dead in PIB colony
The police car had been dispatched from the nearby Ferozabad police station where they had been assigned.
The attack killed three officers including an Assistant Sub Inspector. They were identified as ASI Ghani Bakhsh, Constables Mohammad Ramzan and Mohammad Nisar.
The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
Relatives of the decease have been compensated by the police to take the bodies to their home towns. The body of Ghani Baksh will be taken to Naushero Feroz, Mohammad Nisar to Haripur and Mohammad Ramzan to Sukkur.
Police revealed that they had managed to recover empty shells of the bullets shot at the officers, supposedly fired from an AK-47.

@Adeel: Your solution can't be implemented by constitution. And to amend the constitution to implement the solution People of karachi have selected the same terrorists (MQM,ANP,PPP). So don't expect anything until people wake up and chose non-ethnic political party.
@Ahsan: The solution is a complete ban on MQM, ANP and PPP atleast in Karachi till these parties show that they have disbanded their military arms.

Extremely sad. How can we expect weak Sindh police to take on terrorists, political workers, bhatta mafia's etc in Karachi? I seriously feel sad for poor police even though in know they are politicized to the core.
Karachi needs operations clean up now. I hope a large number of people believes that Karachi has to be cleaned from weapons.

They should put all the police force to arrest the culprits and hand them in the middle of the town.
They must have refused to give extortion money to the sector in-charge !!!!
