FAISALABAD: Javed, resident of Chak 235-RB Niamoana, was killed over a rivalry in Dijkot area. Police said Javed was commuting to Faisalabad on a motorcycle when Ashraf, Ghulam Hussain, Ansar Abbas, Khalid and Maqsood shot him near Roshanwala Bypass Chowk. Javed died on the spot. His family protested against the police, placing his body at Roshanwala Bypass Chowk and demanding the arrest of his killers. Some police officials arrived at the scene and promised to arrest the suspects promptly. Police sent the body for a postmortem.
