The protest demonstration was organised by Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) particularly against the target killing incident on Spinney Road on March 29, 2012, which left five people dead, including a woman belonging to the Hazara Community.
“We are compelled to come out from our houses due to all the injustices done to our people. Hazara tribe has been subjected to targeted killings and other acts of terrorism for the past decade,” said Nazneen Zaman, President HDP women wing. “Peace would prevail if government and its functionaries perform their constitutional duties with responsibility,” she said.
The protesting women said that the Hazara tribe members cannot travel due to prevailing insecurity and increasing number of attacks against them.
They called upon Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to take suo motu notice of the deteriorating law and order situation in the province, particularly targeted killings of Hazara people on sectarian basis.
“We have pinned all our hope on Chief Justice of Pakistan that he will provide us with justice,” a protestor told The Express Tribune.

Why Chief Justice of Pakistan not taking suo motu notice of the deteriorating law and order situation in Quetta, particularly targeted killings of Hazara people on sectarian basis.
Mr. Adnan!Saudi Arabia and Iran are waging this sectarian war inside Pakistan. I strongly disagree with your comments about Baluch Sardars. They are highly respectable people and drew thier legitimacy from the people and act as fatherly figures to the members of thier tribe. Your claim that sardars are against development is totally untrue. The main reason for the poverty of Baluchistan is not sardars, but the plunder of the Baluch resources by punjab dominated Pakistani federation. More importantly, this is not for you to tell Baluch what they should do and what is good for thier progress and development. Development is only possible when you have resources, and Baluch are aware of this. This is why they are demanding control over thier resources and right to determine thier own destiny.
Baloch, Balochistan nationalisit leader & it's people always condemn the killing of Hazara people. I don't think that Baloch are killing the Hazara.
As a Baloch i condemn systematic killing, holocaust, genocide, mess murder, target killing & recent killing of innocent Hazara civilians in Quetta Balochistan. in my opinion BLA OR BRA has never done so and always they condemn the killing of hazara people, But The Fundamental elements of Islamic group of Pakistan has done such act.
@Junaid: Apparently, BLA, BRA and BLF disregard the fact that the Hazara people have been living there for hundreds of years and want to drive them out or completely kill them. Then, we have idiots who think they are 'religious leaders' who kill them for following a different sect of Islam (Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, TTP).
BLA, BRA, BLF want a Balochistan that is PURELY Baloch. After they are done killing non-Balochs, they will start targeting animals and birds for not being Baloch. This is the reason why development is not allowed in Balochistan. Development would mean education, progress and immigration. BLA, BRA and BLF and the Sardars want to hold the Baloch nation in the middle ages. Unless and until the common Baloch man is empowered, nothing will change. This will continue. All funds handed by the government are claimed by the Sardars and they spend luxurious lives while the Baloch people suffer. Then, these very Sardars cry about the non development. BLA, BRA and BRF do not want progress because it would lead to globalization. At the same time, they complaint about the lack of development.
TTP and LeJ are hypocrites. They disregard Quranic verses which condemn killing. They disregard Hadith which condemn killing. They kidnap for ransom. They use children and young teens to carry out suicide bombings. And they justify all this in the name of Islam.
Why HAZARA community is targeted in Baluchistan?
