Pakhtuns are still not United. Its not about ANP but about your survival. Get united and see no one can match you.
@Hairaan: Actually, as their name implies "haq parast", they have rights on everything of karachities including life, money, children everything.
@Behzad Khan: What you want to say that only MQM have the right to control Karachi by guns.
Mohajirs were the ones who were instrumental in creating Pakistan and today we are told to leave karachi as we arent sons of the soil. Every Pakistani should know they have a country because of quaid e azaam who was a shia and mohajir.
If you ( any leader of any origin) say that Karachi is (mainly or only) mine and if you say my workers will get out of control, then you are part of the problem. You are the culprit of misery, humiliation and poverty of the absolute majority of the people of Karachi. And if the government cannot find a solution, it declares its uselessness. There could be solution and there is a solution. Karachi situation could successfully be reversed. There is no doubt. But you should be honest, visionary with will and doer. People would always prove great savior and helper, if their strength and support is invoked.
ANP must understand that whatever they do with Karachities, common pushtoon which has nothing to do this politics will face the result.
@Hafeez: Totally agree with you. ET needs to hire new sensible staff.
poor civil administration - with unlimited sources at disposal - no results, better ask for u.n.force, in order to let human sigh of relief.
@Concern1: The summer is approaching...let them dig the roads and stuff for now...maybe later when the days are shorter and the weather cools down a bit, we'd hire the local boys in their stead !!! No seriously !!!
@Concern1: I don't have to comment on your comments. since it would be useless. I am really shocked that how would ET moderaters let such stupid comments show up. It is really shocking.
@Concern1: Pakhtoonistan come to work in karachi, they should be banned & those in Sindh should be booted out.
... what if they say mohajirs should be sent back to india - as they are not "real" son of soil ?
@Behzad Khan: When immigrants from India have right to settle in Karachi then why not those who come from within Pakistan. Most importantly, When Sindhi people who are sons of soil, they dont have any problem with Pakhtoons' stay in Sindh, then why some other immigrant group have any moral right to point fingers at Pakhtoons. Finally read wikileaks and JIT reports, you will know which party has militant wings and has sophisticated weapons.
BANARAS is the stronghold of ANP and they killed innocent civilians while they were going to their home from work because they are urdu speaking people. ANP and Amn committee of PPP should be ban for the peace of Karachi and those who want to leave in Karachi should live with peace otherwise they should go to their land which does not give them food......be grateful of Karachittess is running the whole country by their taxes........
To end such violent and terrorist groups, a long 3 prong policy is needed (i) Deweaponise Karachi (ii) Get all illegal immigrants out of Karachi (iii) Conduct a full fledged operation against terrorists and end all No-Go areas of Karachi.
MQM has very good media management and we should accept that fact. This make them innocent in any and every situation. Media's response towards MQM is always soft, friendly and accommodating. They get the highest coverage to their events and Jalsas. Their version is spreaded to every corner of Pakistan through media. If any other party's workers has burnt so much vehicles and innocent peoples were found to be killed, media must have been mad over them. But here, all is well! What a dichotomy.
whatever ANP is doing in Karachi, now poor pathans will the price for that, and now people[Karachities] will prefer other communities for daily wages work which is not fair also, but killing of Urdu speaking in their own city is unacceptable.
ANP has become a mafia in Karachi and wants to take control of Karachi by guns but they are on mistake Karachi is the stronghold of the MQM since 28 years even the operation clean up in 1992 could not finished them get real....and stop killing innocent people for political reason.
@Manzoor MQM named that guy because he was calling and giving threat to the person[victim], please don't comment on Karachi, if you dont really know abt reality, also MQM workers shot dead today at Banaras..what about that?
why don't people think this Race and Religon only create hate And hate kill .
ANP worker killed in a fight with his friend and in return ANP has killed 12 Urdu speaking so far in the city
@Palwasha:
Nearly all of the dead have been innocent Urdu speaking in the past 3 days. All killed by your ANP
Curse on ruling parties, police and the rangers.
why would everyone blame that on MQM! just because their man died few days back! no no no boys n gals. think a head it could be someone who is enjoying and getting benefit from all this. THINK!
Very bed condition now a days in karachi
Even in this MQM will somehow find a way to portray itself as the victum..
In a war between PPP & MQM, poor pukhtuns of ANP is being killed. Why the PPP government is not giving MQM the things which they want and shut them up. What is the fault of poor pukhtun labourers and ANP activists?
Put a ban on MQM and ANP activities in the karachi city
@ Manzoor...Yeh yeh..and blame game continues, MQM blames ANP and vice versa, it is just odd that things in Karachi get worst during PPP time. How does all this fighting benefit MQM or ANP, atleast it does not help MQM since it make them more unpopular. It seems to be beyond MQM and ANP. End of the day it is Sind Govt. responsibility, they should arrest people irrespective of political affiliation. But Frankly PPP does not care when it comes to Karachi., or even Sind since they know no matter what they will be back in power. btw what do you mean by PEACEFULLY PROTECT THEIR LIVES and ASSETS, go to Kati Pahari and Qasbah you will know how peacefully they have been doing it so far. It started by just few, from any ethinicity, but in the end it is the innocent and poor who lose everything.
Pukhtoons are for some reason attracted to karachi and other cities where mohajirs in majority or power. punjabis will never tolerate their presence in punjabi cities just like mohajird. If only there were pukhtoons as part of high skilled jobs prob would have been much lower.
MQM named the killer of their sector incharge as a member of amn committee but on the other hand they are now targetting ANP and other innocent and poor pukhtuns. Pukhtuns of karachi shud unite and peacefully protect their lives and assets. Remember no one else would stand for pukhtuns.
