Federal Shariat court: Two judges take oath of office

The judges have been appointed for a two-year term.

LAHORE: Two newly-appointed judges of the Federal Shariat Court (FSC) took oath on Thursday. FSC Chief Justice Agha Muhammad Rafiq administered the oath to Justice Shaikh Ahmad Farooq and Justice Muhammad Jehangir Arshad in a ceremony held at the Lahore High Court (LHC) Judges’ Lounge. LHC Chief Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, Punjab Advocate General Aushtar Ausaf and Prosecutor General Sadaqat Ali were among those who attended the ceremony.  The judges have been appointed for a two-year term.
