Four persons including a man and his son were killed in two separate incidents on Wednesday.
According to the police, Haleem Haider and Gharib Shah of Kalu Khan village entered into an altercation over a property dispute and opened fire at each other. Shah, Haider and his son Bahadur were killed in the crossfire.
Haider’s other son Raj was also injured and was taken to Swabi Hospital.
In another incident, a woman was allegedly killed by her husband for seeking divorce.
The police said that the deceased woman was residing with her parents for a long time as she did not get along with her husband.
On Wednesday, her husband Alam Sher entered her house and allegedly opened fire at her, killing her on the spot. The police have registered a case against the suspect and started investigations.
