Weights And Measures: Labour Dept starts survey of shops

Purpose is to collect data on institutions where instruments of weight and measurement were being used.

LAHORE: The Labour Department has launched a survey of weights and measures used in shops, industrial and trade institutions, petrol pumps and CNG stations, said a press release. Addressing a meeting here on Tuesday, Labour Welfare Director General Humayun Mazhar Sheikh said that the purpose of the survey was to collect data on institutions where instruments of weight and measurement were being used.
