KARACHI: Following the confirmation of the under-22 team’s tour of Thailand next month, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has organised a training camp under coach Zavisa Milosavljevic from Tuesday.

The tour will give the squad much-needed training ahead of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge Cup qualifiers that take place in June.

“We’re trying our best to organise tours for the team in order to give them international exposure,” PFF Secretary Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi told The Express Tribune. “It’s something that we’ve been trying to do since the start of the year.

“Initially we planned on inviting teams to play friendly matches here but since that’s not happening, we’ve decided to go to Thailand. There’s also a possibility of having matches with Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka.”
