Cycling: Shakeel clinches event

Shakeel outpaced 40 other cyclists as he covered distance of 154 kilometres in five hours, one minute and 12 seconds

KARACHI: Mohammad Shakeel clinched the Lahore to Sahiwal cycle race organised by the Punjab Cycling Association. Shakeel outpaced 40 other cyclists as he covered the distance of 154 kilometres in five hours, one minute and 12 seconds. Sameer Ali secured second position after finishing three seconds slower, while Hashmat Ali from Afghanistan ended third with a time of five hours one minute and 30 seconds.
