Basketball: Islamabad announce squad for event
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Basketball Association (IBA) announced a 12-member squad for the 51st Men’s National Basketball Championship that begins in Lahore. Omer Iftikhar will lead the side in the event being organised by the Pakistan Basketball Federation in collaboration with Wapda from March 24 to 31. A total of 13 teams including defending champions PAF, Wapda, Army, Railways, Navy, Higher Education Commission, Police, Islamabad, Fata, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan are taking part in the national championship.
