Royal Visit: Thai Princess visits Harappa

Says visit was quite informative and she enjoyed witnessing an important site which is part of global history.

SAHIWAL: Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand visited Harappa excavation site and the associated museum here on Thursday morning.  Accompanied by Ambassador to Thailand Sohail Shahid, Princess Maha Chakri was briefed about the excavations undertaken at the site, and relics found over the years which have been preserved at the museum in Harappa. The princess said the visit was quite informative and she enjoyed witnessing an important site which is part of global history. Pakistan and Thailand enjoy warm and cordial relations and bilateral exchanges in the coming days would further cement the ties, she added.
