Football: Rasool’s hat-trick takes KESC into final

KARACHI: Mohammad Rasool’s hat-trick helped KESC crush Wapda 3-0 and ease into the final of the National Challenge Cup where they will meet national champions KRL who defeated Navy 1-0. Rasool’s tally took him to top spot in the goal-scorers’ tally with KRL’s Rizwan Asif in second with seven. “We’ve won our matches with decent margins and now I want to score a hat-trick against KRL,” Rasool told The Express Tribune. Earlier, Kaleemullah’s 17th-minute strike in the other semi-final was enough to seal KRL’s place in the final.
