KARACHI: Al-Tuwairqi Holding Chairman Dr Hilal Hussain Al-Tuwairqi has been named World Finance’s ‘Man of the Year 2011’ recently for his outstanding entrepreneurial skills and a track record of developing profitable business ventures. ATH has also been judged as the best company of 2011, in the economic block of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The conglomerate is now on the verge of completing Pakistan’s first private-sector integrated environment-friendly steel manufacturing project spread over an area of 220 acres at Bin Qasim, Karachi with a capacity to produce 1.28 million tons of high-quality DRI, according to its official website.
