Transgender Rights: Dadu’s first eunuch gets a job

Memon has become a recovery inspector with the municipal administration.

DADU: Hamza Memon has become the first eunuch in the district to be given a job after the Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered that people like him be given national identity cards. Memon is the president of a welfare organisation for transgenders in Dadu. He has become a recovery inspector with the municipal administration and was given his papers in a ceremony chaired by administrator Imdad Ali Dahoch. Memon said that a campaign against corruption would be launched and their recoveries would be doubled.
