Cricket: ‘Bowling coach need not be a foreigner’

ISLAMABAD: Former coach and manager Intikhab Alam said that national team’s bowling coach would not necessarily be a foreigner. “The role has been advertised by the Pakistan Cricket Board and it’s looking to appoint who they feel is the best candidate for the job,” said Alam. “Obviously Dav Whatmore and Julien Fountain are not Pakistani nationals, but that does not signify that the bowling coach will also come from the overseas.”
