WASHINGTON: Before his death, Osama bin Laden had ordered his followers in Afghanistan and Pakistan to attack the aircraft of US President Barack Obama, the Washington Post reported Friday. The report, which cited documents seized at the Abbottabad compound where bin Laden was killed by US forces, said the al Qaeda leader also sought to kill General David Petraeus, who then headed international forces in Afghanistan. Bin Laden wanted to kill the US president because killing him would make Vice President Joe Biden take over the presidency. According to the document, he said “Biden is totally unprepared for that post, which will lead the US into a crisis. The report comes as al Qaeda chief Ayman al Zawahiri has called on Pakistanis to revolt against their government and military in a video posted on the internet on Friday, according to US monitors.

It’s been over 10 months since OBL was killed by U.S. Special Forces in Abbottabad, Pakistan. But the truth continues to unveil itself in regards to his evil ways. The terrorist responsible for murdering thousands around the globe was planning to spread more chaos and destruction. How can we be surprised here? It was also reported soon after his death that he did not want his children to join Al-Qaeda. His terrorist organization (Al-Qaeda) manipulates innocent minds into becoming suicide bombers, but OBL wanted to keep his children out of harm’s way. It is easy to connect the dots here and see that hypocrisy is on full display. It is comforting to know that this terrorist is no longer plotting to bring misery upon the innocents. The U.S. will continue to pursue those who are looking to infiltrate our lands with their acts of terror, and will not rest until they meet their fate.

Pakistan should thank its stars that OBL was killed before he could succeed in his mission otherwise what could have happened to Pakistan is not difficult to guess since he was found living in this country.
