ISLAMABAD:

One of the city’s hallmark salon celebrated its 40th birthday with a glittery affair on Thursday night, complete with models styled by Daniella and her daughter Jaine.

The salon’s lawn was set in a golden tent set with large ornamentations and a red carpet.

Each guest walking in was given a souvenir along with red velvet cupcakes.

Once known as The Hong Kong Beauty Salon, the mother-daughter duo’s signature salon has been in business before styling and makeovers were the norm in the city.

The supermodels at the event included Natty, Roshanie, Alizeh, Sophia and Rubab. The dresses were styled by Janie while the makeup was taken care of by Daniella, with jewellery by Ennz.

Jaine told The Express Tribune that along with celebrating its 40th birthday, the salon has undergone a complete makeover.

“I am very excited to welcome everyone to our refurbished salon, we have come a long way,” she said.

Guests at the event held high opinion about the salon, as one woman said, “I had my bridal make up done by Janie and Daniella and I can safely say, she made me look gorgeous. Daneilla’s is the only place I’d trust with my styling.”

To complete the celebration, a cake adorned with white icing was cut by the Danialla’s team including the models. One of the models, Roshanie, stated that relatively new on the scene, she always prefers to get her styling done by this particular salon as its reputation precedes it and the quality of work is high.

Daniella pledged to keep providing high quality service, “We cannot predict what happens to our clients once they leave the parlour, but we can certainly assure the best possible treatment when you are inside our salon.”

The event was organised by Rezz PR and Savvy Events.
