Attempted rape: Six-year-old girl found unconscious

HYDERABAD: A 12-year-old boy, Ameer Mallah, allegedly tried to rape his six-year-old cousin on Wednesday in Abdullah Junejo village, in Badin’s Khoski town. According to the girl’s father, she had gone to play with Ameer but her cries caught the attention of her mother and sister who found her unconscious and bleeding in a room. Ameer fled the scene but following a complaint, the Khoski police arrested his father Ramzan Mallah on Thursday. The victim was initially taken to a hospital in Khoski but due to the absence of doctors, she was shifted to a hospital in Badin. After first-aid treatment, the doctors referred the family to the taluka hospital in Tando Bagho for a medico-legal examination.
