Annual event: Solidarity Games kick off

RAHIM YAR KHAN: The third National Solidarity Games were inaugurated by Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Rana Mashood in Rahim Yar Khan on Thursday. The games have been arranged at the Sheikh Khalifa Sports Complex. DCO Dr Ahmed Javaid Qazi told the media that the games will continue till March 18. He said the event had gained a lot of popularity in three years. He said doosti kay rishtay, khailoon kay naaty was the slogan of the games. The event will feature competitions in nine different sports. Players from nine districts from all four provinces will compete against one another.
