Voting Discrepancies: 0.16m votes registered in Balochistan

Commission will make the corrections but it will take at least a month, says Sindh Election Commissioner.

KARACHI: Around 116,000 votes of Sindh are registered in Balochistan province, the Election Commission officials revealed on Monday. Sindh Election Commissioner Sono Khan Baloch and the National Database and Registration Authority Director General Brig. Zahid Hussain, held an in-camera briefing at the Sindh Assembly after a number of members complained about errors and discrepancies in the electoral rolls in their areas. Baloch said that the commission will make the corrections but it will take at least a month, and they will ask the federal government for an extension in the deadline.
