RAWALPINDI:

Two women and a man who wanted to meet Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif at the inauguration ceremony of Chandni Chowk flyover were detained and harassed by the city police.

Shahjahan Bibi, her daughter Sobia Naz, and her male relative had come to meet the CM at the Arid Agriculture University to complain against the “lethargy and inaction of Civil Lines Police” in arresting the man who killed two of her daughters in June last year.

Shahjahan claimed that she was illegally detained by SP Potohar Town Raja Basharat and SHO Civil Lines Raja Shakeel and harassed by lady constables.
