if you see the question from ET so before selecting anyone we should at least realize the importance of that question . at one end we are talking about asma jahangir & at other end we are taking the name of Meera & Veena , there is no match between these two categories ...
Veena malik "to others a symbol of hope. Unable to stay out of the headlines, the model cum actress is a maverick for the modern Pakistani woman." i wonder that what we want in Pak , why we can't differentiate between modernism and vulgarity... for this statement we can only feel sorry for those women who don't even know that wearing jeans t-shirt or posing nude is not MODERN PAKISTANI WOMAN ...
I hope shortlisted women will be fearless but not shameless :/
Can we vote again, but this time through google docs?
WOW! Veena Malik has more likes than Bilqis Edhi!!!. That shows kind of society we are becoming.. God help us !!!!
TI am sure those 12 likes for Veena were by Indians :d
Whaaat Veena at No: 2 ...........I demand a recount.
to put veena and sirmed in the same survey as bilquis edhi is a disgrace to progressive values. Goes to show how far off the reserve the "liberals" are.
I think ET doesn't have any serious stories anymore maybe that's why they're putting up useless crap every now and then.
juxtaposing Asma Jhangir with veena malik is I think mostrous. not that I have anything against veena malik nor am I a member of ghairat brigage though.
Is this really a survey worth publishing? Seriously ET?
ET's standard is falling day by day, A survey on facebook! are you kidding me? How many people in Pakistan use facebook? you issued this report because ET's favorite Veena malik got 2nd position in the survey. What is her achievement so far? we all know, cat fights on Big boss, getting nude photos published, then saying that they were photo shopped, then gradually admitting them and now recently an item song, Does this woman deserve recognition? ET if you need a symbol of liberalism so desperately, how about other educated and true liberal Pakistani women like Atiqa Odho, Sheema Karmani Faryal Gohar etc. You need a beautiful face and bold character for a perfect symbol of liberalism, these three women have it all, Their work and contribution is worth appreciation and recognition. Please stop humilating Pakistani nation by endorsing Veena Malik this much.It hurts me and so many other people who visit your website for some real news. Bilquis Edhi got just 4 likes? this surveys speaks for itself. What a terrible joke!
ET- Any survey or poll less than 500 votes is not worthy of publishing in a leading daily like you.
Sana Saleem should be on top of the list followed by Bilqees Edhi.
ET never stops to amuse. On a serious note please hire some competent and capable online content editor who at least gives one read to what is about to be published.
you think your 'poll' wid 50 odd votes is credible enough to be reported as a headline news? grow up! and get out of that shrewd mentality of cashing on veena malik, meera etc
veena at 2nd? i don't wanna live in this country anymore.. :S
Your sample size for this survey is statistically insignificant. You would do well to consider retracting it, or doing it again with a larger sample size.
Based on 12 likes ET decided to prepare a report. Ironic to say the least. 12 likes do not represent the liberal Pakistanis. PLEASE ET.
Peoples choice on 15 votes and 12 votes? wow!! As if half of Pakistani population has chosen them
Off 103k people who follow Express Tribune on Facebook only 50 voted for the survey. Speaks loudly on how the survey was conducted.
