ISLAMABAD: Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti, grandson of late Nawab Akbar Bugti, unleased his security guards on two reporters of ARY News who were capturing his meeting with US officials at a local hotel on Thursday, on their cell phone cameras. Bugti’s guards allegedly confiscated their phones. One of the reporters managed to escape from the guards’ custody and informed his office about the incident. Bugti, president of the Balochistan chapter of Jamhoori Watan Party, was meeting the political counsellor of the US embassy Jonathan Prett, a source said. “[Bugti’s] guards thrashed me and he himself threatened me of dire consequences if I would not hand over the cell phone,” said one of the reporters. The police took the four guards into custody and a formal application for registration of FIR against Bugti and his guards was also lodged with the Secretariat police. No case was registered till the filing of this report.

These same Bugtis speak of persecution by Pakistan. Why isn't this guy locked up? Just because he's a useful sell out to his people? We should maintain law and order despite the assumed consequences of offending such "allies". They are our citizens, not allies, and they must be treated as such. This is exactly the sort of blackmailing that encourages them to do more of this kind of thing. He is the biggest loser in his tribe and in ordinary Pakistan he walks around like a lion because the same state that he speaks and acts against protects him. This ungrateful *. Lock him up! Use force with the Bugtis, its the only language they understand
