Better Healthcare: Dialysis unit opens at K-P hospital

Health Minister Syed Zahir Shah says the government was serious in providing state-of-the-art health facilities.

PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Health Minister Syed Zahir Shah said that the government was serious in providing state-of-the-art health facilities to the people at their doorstep and despite unfavorable conditions hectic efforts were being made towards this end. Addressing inaugural ceremony of a dialysis unit at Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) on Thursday, the minister recalled that when he assumed charge of the health department, people complained of rampant flaws in the department which have been addressed to a great extent by initiating reforms.
