Motives unknown: Gunmen kill driver, injure cleaner

HYDERABAD: The driver of a goods transport vehicle was killed and its cleaner was injured by unidentified men who opened fire on them near the Central Prison and fled. The 38-year-old driver, Mukhtar Ahmed, was the father of four children and a resident of the Paretabad town. The vehicle’s cleaner, Noman, who was shot in the leg told the police that they were washing the Mazda truck at the transport stop when the gunmen arrived.
