Cricket: Bears beat Zebras by 33 runs

Continue their unbeaten run in the National One-Day Cup Division-II event.

KARACHI: Quetta Bears defeated Karachi Zebras by 33 runs to continue their unbeaten run in the National One-Day Cup Division-II event. Batting first, Bears scored 195 for nine as Taimoor Khan made 41. In reply, Zebras were bowled out for 162 despite a valiant 69 from captain Akbarur Rehman. Arun Lal bagged three wickets for the victors. Meanwhile, all-rounder Aamir Yamin scored 59 runs and claimed three wickets to power Multan Tigers to a 46-run win over Hyderabad Hawks. Elsewhere, KRL’s clash with United Bank was abandoned due to rain.
