LAHORE: Pakistan Football Federation's (PFF) President Faisal Saleh Hayat has renamed the Best Player Award of the National Women Football Championship as the Misha Dawood Trophy.

Diya FC's midfielder Misha was on the Airblue airliner that crashed on July 28. “It will be known as the “Misha Dawood Trophy“ from now on in the annual National Women Championship,“ said Hayat.

Misha rose to prominence two years ago when she scored a hat-trick against Sindh Soccerities in the inaugural National Women Football Club
