Job Security Protest: Students join teachers in solidarity

FAISALABAD: Dozens of teachers and students of vocational training institute staged a demonstration on Monday in support of the former’s demand for regularisation of their services. The demonstrators gathered at the Faisalabad Press Club in the form of a rally they had started from the institute. The protesters staged a sit-in front of the press club. The students said they had decided to join the rally to express solidarity with the teachers who they held had worked at the institute for 14 years but still lacked job security and service structure. They said the protest would continue until government regularised the services of their teachers.
