The event will be organised to protest last week’s burning of copies of the Holy Quran in Afghanistan by at the Bagram military base of the International Security Assistance Force.
ASWJ chief Ahmad Ludhiyanvi said that desecration of the Holy Quran in Afghanistan is part of America’s crusade against the Muslims.

you are a bit niave of the religious sensitivity, probably not too much into any religion, the incident has hurt the religious emotions of the people, pakistan is not a first world country where you can have a peaceful protest and somebody higher up in the government would listen, you have to come out in the streets to voice your concerns.
How about these guys actually observe a " protest something by doing something useful " day. No body burns holy books on purpose , but by just having useless protests in which people who already do nothing useful, by doing more of the same is ridiculous.
How come no clean up the streets/ educate a child/ teach quran to the poor/ be nice to your neighbours/ work hard and honestly day. Protests are more fun and photo op worthy eh?
