MULTAN: Dozens of activists of Workers Party Pakistan staged a protest on Monday against the US resolution on Balochistan. Addressing the participants, district President Farhat Abbas Khan alleged that all the regimes were equally responsible for the Balochistan issue. He said that the people of Balochistan have reservations over their deprivation and hence there was an urgent need to address their sense of deprivation. He called upon the government to focus on the issue of Balochistan and hold negotiations with Baloch leaders.

Deprivation done by whom? Was it the government of Pakistan? No. The sardars deprived the Balochs. While they took all the money they did nothing for them. Kept them uneducated and backward and are now promoting racism. I insist Placate the Baloch and Sideline the Sardars. The Balochs are with Pakistan may be the sardars are not. Ignore them. Take the Balochs with us. Our politicians are not serious. They don't love Pakistan. They think the freedom they got was just like this. Sir it was attained with tremendous sacrifices. It was based on a two nation theory. Without it Pakistan could not have been made. No way. Now we have created a situation that has its roots in inaction, thoughtlessness and sheer incompetence in governance.
