LAHORE: The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) on Monday rallied to protest the desecration of the Quran by Nato forces. More than a hundred lawyers with black bands tied around their arms, carrying banners and chanting slogans against America, walked from Aiwan-i-Adl to PMG Chowk. They dispersed shortly after. Earlier, the LBA members passed a resolution demanding that the soldiers responsible for the desecration be court martialled. The resolution also said that the American president should apologise.
