Published: February 27, 2012

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari sought a report into the kidnapping of a Hindu girl from Ghotki, Sindh, according to a statement released on Sunday. The president also called for transparent and expeditious investigation into the matter. He directed the authorities concerned to take action in accordance with the law regardless of the influence and status of anyone involved in the crime. The Hindu girl was allegedly forced by some influential people in Mirpur Mathelo area to convert to Islam. The provincial government will submit its report to the relevant department next week.

    Thank you, President.

As I am posting my comment there is only 5 comments so far, all hindus literally sulking, moaning and crying, but not one from a community who cry hoarse for justice, equality, honour and what not at everywhere, anywhere from anybody who care to listen.

Just think, this girl at another place at another time could be your sister, daughter or just a dear one.

yes being a Muslim and citizen of Pakistan i condemn this act, pl z don’t assume all Muslims as the kidnapper, as u all know u r been here for 60 and plus years, govt of Pakistan has given you protection since her existence, its the individuals fault, as president has issued his orders she will return back soon to safe hands InshaAllah

there is no protection or respect for minorities in pakistan – just look at all the atrocities done to them by the majority and it is obvious.
