Hindu girl’s abduction: President seeks report into kidnapping

The president also called for transparent and expeditious investigation into the matter.

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari sought a report into the kidnapping of a Hindu girl from Ghotki, Sindh, according to a statement released on Sunday. The president also called for transparent and expeditious investigation into the matter. He directed the authorities concerned to take action in accordance with the law regardless of the influence and status of anyone involved in the crime. The Hindu girl was allegedly forced by some influential people in Mirpur Mathelo area to convert to Islam. The provincial government will submit its report to the relevant department next week.

there is no protection or respect for minorities in pakistan - just look at all the atrocities done to them by the majority and it is obvious.
